Hankun Zhang was born in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province in 1987. He graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University in March 2019 with a doctoral degree of management. He once visited the University of Maribor in Slovenia from December 2016 to June 2017. His research interests include complex system decision optimization, complex system modeling and simulation, swarm intelligence algorithms, port ship berth scheduling optimization, job shop scheduling optimization, railway freight transportation routing design, etc. He has participated in several national and provincial projects. He has published several papers in journals such as the "International Journal of Simulation Modelling (IJSIMM)" and the "Journal of the China Railway Society", and has written a chapter in the book "Simulation for Industry 4.0".
