BTBU Business School Held Beijing Innovative Forum of Cutting-edge Disciplines

On April 12, the Beijing Innovative Forum of Cutting-edge Disciplines: Reform and Innovation of Mixed Ownership SOEs was held by the Business School on the main campus located at Fucheng Rd. Nine renowned experts took part in the forum. They are Liu Guoqiang, a researcher from the Accounting Society of China; Prof. Xie Zhihua from Beijing Technology and Business University; Prof. Luo Wei from Peking University; Prof. Xie Kangtao from Renmin University of China; Prof. Yuan Chun and Prof. Chen Yunsen from Central University of Finance and Economics; Prof. Chen Deqiu from University of International Business and Economics; and Prof. Li Baixing from Capital University of Economics and Business. The nine experts had a discussion on the reform and innovation on mixed ownership SOEs since the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the CPC.


Prof. Xie Zhihua, the Head of State-owned Assets Collaborative Innovation Center, the former Vice Chancellor of BTBU, introduced the development process of the center, and shared the achievement made in SOE reform. Prof. Mao Xinshu, Dean of Business School, introduced the preparation for the Research Institution of State-subsidized State-owned enterprises and the cutting-edge innovative forum. Besides that, he also made an introduction of the latest research achievements of state-owned enterprises’ ownership reform.


The experts shared their respective views on the theories and difficulties of the reform. They also gave their suggestions for further research of state-funded state-owned enterprises.


Mao Xinshu concluded the forum and hosted the appointment ceremony for advising experts of State-owned Assets Collaborative Innovation Center and Research Institution of State-subsidized State-owned enterprises.
