​ Business School Won the Major Projects Listed by SASAC of the State Council

On the afternoon of November 24, 2022, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council organized the launch meeting of 2022 annual research projects by combining online and offline methods. The meeting announced the list of projects undertaking units, and the participants discussed how to promote the major projects and researchof state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises.

At the meeting, the State Council SASAC Research Center Party secretary, director Yi Xuedong announced the project undertaking units. This project was the first time for the State Council's SASAC to conduct soft science research for the whole society. It attracted 360 units to apply, and finally 30 leading units in undertaking the projects won the bid.Research on the Relationship between Government Public Budget and State-owned Capital Management Budget, led by Professor Xie Zhihua from Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU), won the bid forthe 2022 annual research project ofSASAC of the State Council and was one of the eight universities that won the bid.

The successful bid of this project is another landmark achievement of Business School's long-term adherence to the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises as the discipline characteristics and development direction. Next, BTBU, as the leading unit responsible for the project, will focus on promoting the research on the Relationship between Government Public Budget and State-owned Capital Operation Budget, focusing on solving the problem of the connection between government public budget and state-owned capital operation budget management, by clarifying the relationship, improving the planning and allocation, reconstructing the organizational framework and establishing a two-way replenishing mechanism. We will improve the organization and operation mechanism for the budget management of state capital operations, further promote the optimization of the layout and structural adjustment of the state economy, strive to produce research results with political height, theoretical depth and practical depth, and promote theoretical innovation in the state economy.
