Business School Holds an ABC Lecture on Career Development Path for Accounting Professionals

On the afternoon of March 22nd, the Business School invited Professor Zhang Jide to host an ABC Lecture on Career Development Path for Accounting Professionals. More than 80 graduate students attended the lecture, which was hosted by Li Chu, a student from the Business Research Class 2231.

Professor Zhang Jide provided foundational knowledge to the attending graduate students in three aspects of career development: general understanding of career planning, how to plan a career, and how to implement the plan. He began by using engaging stories like "The Earthworm Story" and "Who Are You Working For?" to gradually introduce the key elements of career development to the students. He advised students that when planning their careers, they should first determine their career anchors, strengthen their foundations, hone their skills, engage in practical experience, and continually adapt to approach their career development goals step by step.

Following Professor Zhang Jide's insightful presentation, he engaged in interactive discussions with the students. He addressed their specific questions and provided guidance on topics such as employment, pursuing a Ph.D. degree, and future trends in accounting career development, effectively resolving any uncertainties they had.
