Six Scholars of BTBU Attended a Conference in Japan

Co-hosted by Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Shiga University, and Nagasaki University, the 14th International Conference on Asian Financial Markets and Economic Development was held in Kyoto, Japan from December 15 to 16, 2018. Many scholars from universities in Japan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand, New England, and other countries and regions participated in this academic conference. Meanwhile, the Business School of BTBU appointed six scholars to attend this conference.


Professor Mao Xinshu gave a welcome speech for the conference. On behalf of BTBU, he wished that through the exchange of academic thoughts, participants could learn from each other and work together to improve academic development and social practice. At the welcome dinner, after delivering a reception speech, Vice Chancellor Xie Zhihua discussed with the conference organizer on matters related to 15th conference that would be held by BTBU next year. He also extended invitations to all of the scholars present.


At the sub-forum, Professor Mao Xinshu, Professor Mu Linjuan, Associate Professor Liu Ting, Associate Professor Wang Nan, and Teacher Zhang Lu gave presentations on their papers, arousing extensive attention and heated discussions.


This conference built a platform for cooperative research in economics and management among universities in Asia. Six scholars of BTBU revealed a high level of internationalization and good expression. This has improved their reputations around the world.
