[Good News·Contest] Logistics Management Team of the Business School Won Awards in the Sixth NCOLD

    On April 22, MA STEEL Cup-6th National Contest on Logistics Design by University Students (NCOLD) had its closing ceremony in Anhui Magang Group. NCOLD is co-sponsored by the National Advisory Committee on Teaching Logistics to Majors in Higher Education and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. It isone of the professional design contests approved by the Ministry of Education for "Quality Engineering".

    The two teams selected by the BTBU campus competition formed a team with Professor Yang Hao Xiong and Professor Zhang Hao from the Department of Logistics Management as the General Director. This included four teachers—Wang Jing, Lu Junjie, Zhang Xiaoyu, and Zhang Linlin—who took on roles as instructors. The participants made full use of their knowledge of logistics and supply chain, operations research, big data, and computer technique to build, analyze, and summarize models as well as provide reasonable development planning suggestions for Magang Group. Finally, the two teams from BTBU stood out from more than 350 universities and 588 teams across China, winning the second and third prizes.
